Login denied, you are not authorized to login to the forums.

I made an account today and made a post in the FS/FT forums. I stated that I was a long time member of hardforum (user name: Bop) and so a moderator kindly offered to give me the user name on this site as the person has not used it since 2003.

However now whenever I log in I get the message, "Login denied, you are not authorized to login to the forums."

Is there anything the mods can do to fix this?
