I?m thinking that this is a good logical way to come to what is 'true' and understand how others come to the same conclusion... tell me what you think.
we're all smart people, so i'd like to know whare there are holes in my understanding so that i might fix them.
trying to understand the truth of understanding:
1.) basic ?truth? is that which is found at the base of understanding,
a. the basic ?truth? is the heuristic state at witch most thinking in life is done
b. Basic ?truth? is what allows us to decide what it is that we do, thus it is given the greatest weight.
c. basic ?truth? is often based more on emotions than logic, thus making these ?truths? seem more likely to be correct.
2.) applicable ?truth? is that which can be brought into functionality
a. the applicable ?truth? is not independent of conflict with the basic ?truth?.
b. the applicable ?truth? can only exist when it?s application can be tested.
c. The applicable ?truth? is given very little weight unless it is supporting a strong intellectual ?truth?, being based little on emotion..
3.) intellectual ?truth? is that which is based on the most ideas
a. when intellectual ?truths? seem to be backed up by a similar number of ideals then one looks at how true the ideals backing up the intellectual truth is, see #1.
b. Intellectual ?truth? is seen as justification for the support of a basic ?truth?.
c. the intellectual ?truth? is the basis of a compelling ?truth?.
4.) compelling ?truth? is that which is based on the intellectual ?truth? that is being supported by the most basic ?truths?
a. Compelling ?truth? most easily allows one to change the set definition of one?s heuristic basic ?truth?.
b. Compelling ?truth?, though often times flawed by emotional pre-dispossessions and lack of functionality, is the most power-full in an argument .
c. The compelling ?truth? seems more ?true? than any other truth, and thus can create the greatest effect.
5.) strong intellectual ?truth? is the one that is based on the most applicable ?truths?
a. Strong intellectual ?truth? tends to be the most lacking of emotion, thus is inherently given the least weight.
b. because of it?s prerequisite of being based off of applicable ?truth? the strong intellectual ?truth? is the one most likely to be functionally true.
c. because of the tendency of the strong intellectual ?truth? to disregard emotions it takes special consideration and attention to place a strong intellectual ?truth? into heuristic basic ?truth?.
6.) functional ?truth? is the basis necessary to implement outward manipulation of interactions
a. Functional truth is the most basic ?truth? that can be placed into the subcategory of the heuristic basic ?truth? while retaining function.
b. Functional truth must be given an exterior emotional-mental weight in order for it to be implemented as a basic ?truth?.
c. Compelling ?truth? tends to be accepted as a functional ?truth? thus createing the basis of a basic ?truth? that is not necessarily an applicable truth.
7.) No truth is ever complete or fully functional
a. If one accepts that there is no final truth then the constant search for strong intellectual ?truth? will lead to ever more functional ?truth?.
b. Compelling ?truth? tends to be understood as Strong intellectual ?truth?.
c. Keeping emotional acceptance of the compelling ?truth? to a minimum and implementation of the strong intellectual ?truth? allows for the most functional of basic ?truths? to be implemented into heuristics.
note:
1.): function, 2.): logic, 3.): personal understanding and debates 4.): conclusions from 3 based on 1 5.): conclusions from 3 based on 2 6.): implementation of 5 7.): allowing for re-implementation when or if 4 or 5 are in need of re-evaluation & allowing rethinking of all #.)s for functionality
