Logging out of Win2k problem

On this certain machine, whenever you log out, it just kicks back to the desktop. You have to logout again, in order for it to do so. Does anyone know why you have to logout twice for it to work? Strange problem, only one machine. Thanks.
 
Very interesting. I haven't heard of this one.

-When did the problem start?
-What changes were made to the machine around then?
-What's the value of HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\Currentversion\Winlogon\GinaDll?
