Logging into the forums on a different PC

In trying to log into the forums from a different PC, I get asked for my username and password, and am responded with an invalid credentials error. So I click the link to have my password mailed to me, and after correctly answering the security question (that I had set Sunday night when the forum came back up), it said that my password was reset and would be mailed to me. I have not received an email from Anandtech with the new password.

I'm afraid that if I log out of my account on this particular machine, that I won't be able to get back in.

Please help!

I had the same problem at work. Logged out and was stuck. I went home and it worked fine...

I'm thinking the problem is the stored cookies. Did you try clearing your cache from your browser? I'm going to try that at work today and hopefully it will work ok.

UPDATE: I cleared my cookie cache at work and it works fine for me now. I suggest everyone else who has this problem do the same thing.

BWT: I am using Mozilla 1.6 on Windows 2000 w/ SP4.

Someone already mentioned this but I am mentioning it again here because this information is the most important reason why you cant post if you have been trying and cant do anything but read posts. This new forum requires that you turn off your pop add blocker! I use Norton Internet security so I have to turn mine off to post here. THAT really sucks ANAND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the popup issue is different from Astaroth33's problem. Either way, if you use Mozilla you have built in popup blocking and can specify to allow popups from the forum in the browser settings.

Correct. Using Firefox I have no problem posting, even with popups disabled. On my work machine today I'll try clearing cache and cookies, and trying again.
