Logging in to forums

Whenever I am reading a thread and then have to login for some feature (ie reading a poll), it sends me to the login page. When I log in I get forwarded back to the forum listings page. I have always found this as a pain the neck. I am not a frequent poster and so I usually don't login unless I have to. I was just curious if it was possible that you could have the user forwarded back to the location they were just at.

I do not post much either and it was a pain to log in and then go back to the post I wanted to respond to, so I just checked the box on the login window and now everytime I come to anandtech I am logged in. Hope that helps...

I dont have to do that I post a few times a day and it always takes me back to the reply page it might have to do with your browser settings.
