Someone gave me an Ip address with a port # (ie. 21.324.232 port 32) How can I log on to that to transfer some files? I typed in the ip address in my browser and nothing happened. do i need a special program. thanks
 
Well not everything is done from a browser. However, if there were something for your browser to see then you would type in the address something like this: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:32.

You might try using an ftp client and telling it to connect on port 32. If all of this is too hard for you you don't need to be using the internet. 🙂
