Lockups in direct3d, need advice

Hi, I'm experiencing lockups in d3d games and especially in 3dmark 2001 I was able to run 3dmark 2k for about 1h without any crashes but 3dmark 2001 crashes after 20min max, sometimes during the first run.

So any advice on what drivers I should use detonators, via 4in1 etc... or if you know of any bios/jumper settings or any other tweaks or tricks I should try?

My system (nothing overclocked):
win2000
Iwill kk266-r
athlon 1200/266
single 256mb cas2 mosel vitelic RAM
creative geforce2 gts 32mb
SB live
dlink NIC
2 ibm deskstar gxp disks, 1 on primary master and 1 on the raid controller (but not in raid mode)

Drivers :
detonator v10.80
via 4in1 4.29v
windows built in sb live drivers
kkr0305 bios

I have applied both the agp and udma100 fixes for win2000 and I'm now running service pack2 RC2. I have tried detonator 6.34 and 6.50 which both gave the same or worse stability and very bad 3dmark scores. I have tried conservative memory and agp setting which maybe helped a little but I didn't really get any consistent results except that 4X agp, sidebanding and fastwrites all enabled definitely made things worse.

Prime 95 torture test ran with fast memory timings for about 6h without any crashes(cpu temp 46 C). I have also played quake3 for a couple of hours withot any crashes and glmark haven't crashed on me yet. So it seems like it's only d3d... any advice?
