LOCKUPS, Gotta love em.

I've just installed Windows XP a few days ago and I've resolved the openGL issues.

I'm running the latest nVidia DetXP drivers for XP/2000 (23.11 me thinks). I've reinstalled them a couple of times.

I experience random lockups while in the windows environment, esp. using ICQ and Internet Explorer for relatively straightforward tasks (scrolling through a CNN article, typing a message...!)

When XP reboots, it sends an error report. About 3/4 of the time, it says "Your yadda yadda yadda Nvidia Drivers seem to be the cause of the system instability."

Assuming this is the issue that is causing all of the lockups, what should I do? There are other drivers out there at geforcefaq.com, but it's searching for a needle in a haystack hoping that a particular set works. Besides half of the links on that website are broken.

Please help.
