My computer freezes when I'm playing games such as Counter Strike and NHL 2002. In Counter Strike I'm able to play for about one hour or less untill the whole system freezes, there is nothing I can do except reaching for the reset button. I'm playing Counter Strike in OpenGL, using a GeForce DDR with 23.11 drivers. The rest of my system is a ASUS K7V mainboard, AMD Athlon 700, 256 SDRAM (128 Siemens + 2 x 64 Apacher & Micron a 100 Mhz), SBLive Value & 3C905 NIC. I also have almost the same problem in NHL 2002, although this game is using Direct 3D, I can play the game for about an hour and then I get a major lockup and the system reboots itself. Help me, I'm going mad and I can't eford to buy a new computer!
