I am responding in part to the thread posted by Rollo and the locking of it. Granted, in my taking of the thread, there was overkill but neverless he made information available to the reader in regards to specific performance of said product. I for one, absorbed as much information a I could (previous to my build) from this and other sites to guide me in what items to purchase. In that venture I come across many negative and postive takes on certain products that led me to my final solution. If it weren't for that research and the discussion of that research I could of ended up with many headaches due to purchasing a product of inferior quality.

That being said, I think it is only fitting that people use common sense and disseminate the material for what it is. Simple comprehension can tell a person whether they are biased or not. Let the reader be the judge. Once again, the moderators use objectivity rather than subjectivity in coming to their conclusions. Granted the thread was locked, but the important thing is that people who are considering purchasing this product has the information still available to them to make responsible decisions.

IRL, that would work fine. It doesn't work here. If it starts out going downhill, the juvenile posters here will sink it quicker than you can say, ATI sucks.
So, as a consequence, the threads get locked before (or after) they go to hell.

The thread in question was made for the sole purpose of mocking Bar81's continuous threads.

As im sure Rollo assumed was obvious, that thread was not meant to provide any truths or make any claims. It was merely just getting even.

Threads like that and Bar81's threads as well as threads titled "AMD vs. Intel" or "Nvidia vs. ATI" immediately catch the moderators attention. This board has over 100,000 users registered, they have way to much to do in their volunteer job to babysit; as a result any threads with questionable motives, or content are locked.

Watch it oldsmoboat; you might have to add ".../Nvidia sucks" in your posts ;) ... Wouldn't want to start anything ya know :p
