Locking Gas Caps

Heh, auto parts store or kmart/walmart will usually have those things. If you have an uncommon car, you may not be able to get one.

Why do you want one, though? Just paranoid or actually think people are stealing your gas? I had one (that was standard) on my car, and it was pretty silly to lock/unlock it. Just imagine how dumb you'll feel if the lock ever breaks and you have to leave your car on the side of the road forever... ;-)

I've seen them at auto parts places.

My dad had to put on my car, before it was my car, when I was about 3 or 4 yrs old.

He had parked it in the back yard, and I convinced my friend that we would help my dad out by filling his gas tank.

We filled it with sand. :eek:

I saw them at Tops once, but they were in the clearnace bin (fit "most domestic/import vehicles")

Actually, they are pretty easy to break. The truck I drove when I worked at carquest had one. It got irritating to unlock it everyday to get gas so I put the key in and turned like mad. Snapped the locking mechanism after the first twist and it never locked again.
