A couple of hours ago I posted the tracking progress of a package through UPS with a title of "UPS shipping from Newegg". The purpose was purely comedic.
I stated I had been reading some experiences of other members in tracking their packages, so I figured I'd share my own.
I started getting comments back asking "what was wrong with it" and stuff like that, and that I should "stop my whining", because fedex was still available as a choice for shipping.
So let me make it very clear: I was in no way whining, I was not bashing UPS for being late or taking a long time, I was sharing a FUNNY experience. If you had looked closely at the shipping progress, you would have seen that the package landed at some of the locations multiple times.
It went from WARWICK to SHREWSBURY and back to WARWICK.
It went out for delivery, but we were not here (I'm not whining or blaming UPS for that at ALL).
After the attempted delivery, it went from WARWICK back to SHREWSBURY.
It went from SHREWSBURY to CHELMSFORD.
It went from CHELMSFORD back to WARWICK.
It was delivered successfully the next day.
I found it funny (though moderately confusing, at the time). The package arrived unharmed and in a decent transit time.
So my question, oh moderator people, is why was that topic locked???
I thought OFF TOPIC was the perfect place to share a funny story.
