I just posted a thread about a problem that I had with a MS OS purchase, which I made a mistake by hitting the button before finishing. It was instantly locked, so that it is not possible to correct. Is it the policy of this forum to lock any subject that deals with dishonest manufacturer policies?

11 minutes does not equal instantly. Maybe you should have hit the edit button and told them you were finishing.

I'm not sure about the time, because I didn't even know that the post had been sent. I hit something on the keyboard which caused the problem, so that when I did post, it was doubled. I went to the first and deleted the text, and by the time I got to the second, it was already locked. Since they removed the deleted post and locked the bad one, I assume that it was locked due to it's nature, rather than being blank, because it could have been removed just as easily. In any case, the post contained some information that would have been useful to others, as well as possibly to myself.

All your post said was "Beware of MS OEM". And your wondering why it was locked?

I have seen other threads misposted without any content, and they merely floated down the menu board until they got lost, and that did not happen quickly. However, the time factor is not why I posted this question. I wanted a clear statement about what the forum policy is, regarding negative posts pertaining to any manufacturer. I have seen venders that have negative reviews of products that they are attempting to sell, that allow them to remain. If it was locked because of the fashion in which it was posted, that is fine. But, if because of a policy intolerant of any negative remarks, then I shall find another forum to attend.

I saw the disclaimer on the menu of this forum, regarding the lack of moderation, but I really would like to have an official response, not just alot of member opinions.

Look, I don't know why your having such trouble getting this. ALL YOU POSTED WAS "BEWARE OF MS OEM" in the topic of the mesage, no body. You posted this in the OS forum (for OS questions). So, unless you can explain how exactly your "BEWARE OF MS OEM" was a question, there is no reason to not lock the thread.

Can't your just crawl back into your P&N hole and stay there?

It's just BS...

Some people on AT are seriously stupid. The thread clearly says no pics and can't people just answer the poll? f0cking stupid...

Sooner or later, it would turn into a babe thread.

Anything having to do with female comparison will eventually be backed up and disected.

You say that like it's a bad thing

Much depends on who's POV.

That thread is locked for lack of content. If you have something to say, start a new one. As for your last sentenance, I see nothing in that thread about dishonest mfgr policy. So how can you suggest that this forum locks any subjects on such deals? It was blank when it was locked.
