Has anyone had this happen, and if so, do you know how to fix it?
No I don't have a password reset disk or USB key, though I could have set one up easily...
I might have checked or unchecked a box or two having to do with account settings, but I could've sworn that I knew what they all did, and changed them back to "safe" settings.
I was turning UAC off, and then I rebooted. After it restarted it told me that my account is locked out. I have account locking active, but that's only after 2 failed password attempts. I didn't even type it in incorrectly once.
I tried the administrator account, but it's disabled.
I just installed Vista and I have a lot of the system set up the way I want, so I hope this can be fixed without the oh-so-common windows reinstall...
If anyone can help, I would greatly appreciate it...
