Well, I finally did the ole mistake of locking my keys in the car, and the only spares I had are back home 300 miles away and my family can't find them. I have a 96 Oldsmobile Cutlass Cierra Sedan, and did the coat hanger thing by pulling on the handle, but once the doors are locked on the inside, you can't open it by just pulling on the handle (child protection I guess, though I never saw a lock on the inside of the door for that). Anyone had any luck with this kind of situation? I'm 'monteraly challenged' so I may have to wait a few weeks to get a lock-smith if I can't get in.

2 choices.

1. Get your parenst to find the backup keys and mail them to you

2. Write down the Vin number and go to a GM dealer and have them make a door key for you.

After you do one of those go to kamrt, lowes, etc... and get at least 2 copies of each key made. Leave one at your place here, and the other with a freind.

AAA?

Ha, no. Don't have AAA unfortunately. I've had to pretty much get the basics on everything because of being so poor.

Does a friend of yours (or anyone you know) have AAA? If so, they can call AAA and AAA will come out for you.
