Lock-ups in 3D programs

I just formatted my HDD yesterday and I have installed all the correct drivers for the AGP. When I play Counter-Strike or 3DMark2001, it locks up after awhile for no apparent reason. This started happening yesterday so that's why I reformatted, but that didn't do anything. I haven't overclocked anything, although I have attempted to o/c my Leadtek GeForce2 Ultra but I have set it back to default core/memory. The highest I went for the core/memory was 315/515 which was unstable. Also, in the device manager the GPU and my SBLive! is sharing the same IRQ so I'm thinking it is that but this problem didn't happen until yesterday. Can anyone help me further? Thanks in advance.

Can you recreate the problem? If so, I would take out the sound card and try to recreate it. If it happens then you know for a fact that the sound card isn't the issue. If it doesn't happen, then you know the sound card is causing the problem.

From there we can start to try and solve a simpler problem.
