Lock ups after shipping

So I recently moved, and i took my tower with me in its original box on the plane as luggage. I get it set up with a borrowed monitor and keyboard. Suddenly im getting lock ups in games (counter strike, morrowind). Nothing has changed on the machine, althought for some reason the cpu fan had come unplugged when i first opened it up. However i fixed that before I powered it on and examined all the cabling to make sure it was intact. I installed a linksys wireless adapter, however that was causing crashes with Azureus, so i uninstalled it and removed the drivers. The only other differnce between now and when it worked properly seems to be the ambiant temperature outside of the case(I moved from Alaska to the much warmer eastern Washington).

Basic System info:
Athlon 2100+
Asus a7n8x
1Gb partriot ram
9800 pro with arctic cooling VGA silencer
SOYO raptor adjustable PSU
4 hard drives


EDIT: Checked with Nod32, AVG free edition, and Spybot S&D

I would have removed the VGA card and CPU's HS before shipping. I'm gussing you didn't. Reseat all cards, remove, clean and reinstall the HS with fresh TIM.

You think shipping would have but enough strain on the HS to mess up the TIM? I did reseat everything as well. I'll try that though.

Seem to be getting KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED errors when it locks up.

It occured to me that i pulled a sound card out before i moved it, any possibilty that would give me driver trouble?
