Just because you guys are cool and help me get stuff cheap, if I do somehow by a miracle get this gf4 I'll raffle off my old GF2MX for the anandtech guys for free (its not much, but free is still free)

I received the cancellation email and the back-order email. I think it is probably two separate
systems and though our orders were cancelled, they didn't purge them from the back-ordered
database. This doesn't mean the deal may still be alive, it just means it is still in part of their
systems.

yeah i am thinking the same thing. we can't hold our breath. i just got a backordered e-mail too. i checked the status of the order and it says still in process. i got in on this when the original post already had 100 posts, so i am assuming if i got this then there are A LOT of other ppl in teh same boat, meaning no go. but i guess you can cross your fingers and hope for the best.......
