Well, I dunno. Wouldn't you be at least slightly miffed if your b/f had to ask a forum full of computer geeks what to get for you? I mean if you care enough for someone to spend $200 on their birthday, for Pete's sake at least get to KNOW them.

I have an idea, as part of your "gift" you should LISTEN to your girlfriend next time and pay attention to what she really likes.

But since I don't want to be a *complete* ass I'll suggest the following:

- Silver earrings from Tiffany's. $95-120. My favorites are the Paloma Picasso and Elsa Peretti designs.

- Flower bouquet. $10-50. Don't get anything too extravagant.

- Many girls actually aren't as materialistic as you think. Most of the girls I know would be just as content to spend time with their b/f, so put together a nice evening. It doesn't have to be expensive, but go out to dinner, or someplace romantic. Show her that you enjoy spending time with her; that is the best gift of all.
