Im sure its a repost, but i couldnt find anything when i searched.

can someone tell me what the differences are, or link me somewhere that does?

+ also allows random access and rewriting, so you can use it like another temporary drive. -RW forces you to erase and rewrite the entire thing each time. That's what I've read at least, haven't tried it myself yet, not a big fan of RW in any case.

Also, I have an old Sony DVD player, and Sony has the worst compatability, and the + movies I've burned played fine. Just get good media.

Also...search is your friend, it's what helped me learn about it, and there are lots of threads on the topic.
