Lock DEAD Hot Deals

When hot deals becoming dead they should be locked. I am tired of seeing threads with like 1000 replies where 950 of them came AFTER it was dead...annoying...

I looked, but I guess I'm just not seeing this. I only find one thread in the first 200 that jibes with your description and 2 others that even come close. All three are clearly marked as dead. 😕

I realize they are marked as dead. However, they need to be locked once they are pronounced dead so morons do not continue to jabber in them thus bumping them every 5 seconds.

What if somebody got in on the deal, but had issues with a rebate/shipping/etc, after the deal was dead? I'm sorry it bothers you, but it is often very helpful to those who got in on a deal to be able to continue posting. Would you rather they started a new thread?

Simple solution: bring the option to sort by latest NEW topics back. It's been gone ever since the "upgrade".

No, but I do have to wade through the garbage in order to find informative threads...it's crap and shouldn't be allowed...the bottom line is telling someone that you had a problem or a success with a hot deal is not a hot deal (especially when the deal is dead) therefore it should be posted elsewhere...
