Location of Asus Sil3114 files?

I have an Asus A8N-SLI Premium motherboard. I have 4 SATA drives connected to the Silicon Image 3114 controller. These drives are configured as a single, Raid5 array. I have a standalone SATA drive that is my primary drive and connected to a separate, Nvidia SATA controller. This standalone drive is my boot drive and contains the OS (Windows XP, SP2).

The primary drive recently crashed. I've replaced it with a new drive and reinstalled the same version of OS and drivers for the raid controller as provided by Asus. When I start SAM (version 1.0.0.0) I see my controller and the 4 devices connected, all showing that they are completely available (unused). I was hoping to be able to continue using the drives on this array. However, after speaking with Silicon Image for a few minutes, it seems that since this is a software based raid configuration, there are files that are written to the OS drive that are needed in order to continue without having to build a new array and lose the data.

The problem is that SI can't (won't) give me this info as Asus is provided the chipset and then they write the drivers, etc. So Asus would know the recoverability and location of the files, etc.

Does anyone know the location of such files and whether or not I can move them to the new boot drive and hope to continue using the same array or am I SOL?

Thanks,
David
