Locating old, out of production movies

I'm trying to find a DVD version of Mirage (1965, Gregory Peck), which is out of production, for my dad for father's day - it's his favorite movie. I've searched eBay, no luck. I figure it's a long shot, but I thought I'd leave it in the trustworthy hands of you guys. I hope someone knows a way to find it or conclude that there really is no way.

Have you tried the DVDTalk forums?

Edit: According to this site the movie never made it to DVD. Amazon search turns up nothing, either. Are you sure this was ever released on DVD?

Stay away from buyindies.com. I ordered an old movie from them, and got a really crappy VHS copy.

Nah, I wasn't even sure if it was made on DVD; only hopeful. I didn't know of any movie/DVD forums, I was hoping to get a few mentioned in replies. I'll check that one out. Thanks.
