Noticed this last week, and today its even more so....

This store around the corner from me started paying homeless people to hold up signs directing people to where the store is..... Last week it was 2-3 people....

Well this morning i head out and notice there are 7-8 homeless guys holding the signs.... Now, im all for helping homeless people get off their feet. But do they have to do this right infront of my development? All of them have signs for the store, except one, who keeps his panhandling sign out....

Is it wrong of me to not like this?

it doesnt bother you to have 8 homeless people in front of your development until they start holding advertisements?

Wow, that parody thread is uncalled for.

This winter, my local home Depot has hired several homeles people (assuming homeless) to push carts. Basicalyl giving them money to get through the winter. I COMMEND HOME DEPOT for this act! more stores need to help out, but truth be told, most major corporation help local communities. I think Wal Mart donates to local shelters.

They've been doing this for quite awhile around here. Most of the times they even give them outfits to wear. Funny seeing a homeless dude smoking a cig on break while wearing half a Buzz Lightyear outfit. and sitting on the helmet.

bad since it draws more homeless to the area... very bad. I would protest the store... in theory.
