Local Mcdonalds advertising McRib

The product is total crap. McD's keeps bringing it back for one reason and one reason only. They sank a boatload of money into design and manufacture of the equipment that produces it.

Another example by a snack company is the tube snack with a crunchy outer layer and a soft inner core. They spent a boatload of cash perfecting the combination extruder/ baker apparatus and keep trying to recoup the money lost on a poor product.

I worked at McDonalds when they had it. they were great! well if you got to make them yourself.

at the time you could get food when you worked. I would get a quarter pounder, large fry's and a pizza.

hmm yumm. lots of pepperoni and cheese.

Everytime I flew through Frankfurt I would get a couple McRibs at the McDonalds, people have made fun of me for eating McDonalds in a foreign country but I like it. If I'm in a country for a couple of days I try to eat at McDonalds/Burger King, they have funny stuff you don't see elsewhere. Like a Nacho King (junior whopper with a torltia chip and a dab of salsa), burgers in pita bread, etc.

Had one the other night for the first time in ~15 years...surprisingly pretty good for fried pig fat covered in imitation bbq sauce...
Never gonna be something I'd eat regularly, (MickyD's sux) but it was OK for a change.

Yeah, in the four years I lived in Germany they always had McRibs available.

I never knew they were going to stop making them. When I use to work at mcdonald's back in the day they always were huge sellers. Maybe it is the area.

When I stopped in on monday and saw the mcrib i had to get that over my asain salad. Love the mcrib.
