I try not to muck around with the rigs while rendering or encoding otherwise I have gotten errors and artifacting or corruption in the photo's / videos depending how large the job is and how high the quality and bit rates are ect..
Weird. Seems like you need to use better written commercial software with a 3995WX 128 thread monster. Or the new Mac Studio. But of course, totally your choice if you don't mind all these desktops. After all, I'm the one who wouldn't mind having a dozen laptops running at the same time if money was no object.

I cant afford 10K on a 3995WX 128 threadripper system. I wish I could but I dont have deep pockets like that !! Beside not all my rigs are all 3950x's or 5950x's. I have a mix of different hardware that I have picked up over the years but always on sale or with really good deals .

Never have I ever paid full price unless it was for my main personal rig. Right now I have a couple of 3700x's and a few x99 e5-v3's and even a couple X5650's which will be getting retired soon. The i5-12400 rig I will eventually finish getting the parts for, is going to be my main screw around on rig.

It wont get full price paid for it when all said and done because the majority of the rig will be using left over parts I have laying around. Only thing screwing up the build right now is the dang cooling mounting because lga 1700 uses new mounting holes completely different from the rest. I have to find some kind of mounting upgrade kit. I refuse to use the craptastic stock heatsink!!
