Just installed xp on my 120 gb hard drive. I see it is showing up as drive e😕 cdr is drive d and my zip drive is drive c What is up with that?

I have found that zip drives always mess XP installation up.

Unplug your ZIP drive, make sure the HDD is set up as Master on the Primary channel, and you will probably have to reinstall XP to get the HDD as C:

with winxp you should be able to go into disk managment and designate drive letters how ever you want them

control panel -> administrative tools -> computer managment -> disk managment

That works fine until you try to change the drive letter of the one where Windows lives.
