Loading 2000 with no CD-Rom Drive

Need some help here, I have A panosonic tough-book with-out a CD-Rom drive, how can I load WIn 2k?
I have access to an USB Drive... whats the next step????
 
I assume you change the first boot device to "USB device" in the bios? Do you have a jump drive large enough to hold an image of the 2000 disk?
 
If all else fails, you can always extract the laptop hard drive, put it in an enclosure or inside a desktop (with a 2.5 to 3.5 adapter kit) then format and copy the 2000 CD to the hard drive.
