Buy.com is offering a loaded HP Pavilion M9250f Media Desktop for $649 with free shipping. There should be no tax in most states.

You can find quad core Dell PCs in the $400 range, but they usually have slower CPU, less memory and smaller HD and don't come with so many upgrades. At Dell, you also pay tax. This one comes with:

Q6700 2.66GHz
4GB
1TB (2x 500GB)
512GB 8600GT
TV Tuner + FM (OTA HDTV, I think)
Wi-Fi
Wireless KB
Remote

The major downside is the 90-day warranty. So, make sure you use a good credit card or price it with an extended warranty of some sorts.

Not bad. For $50 less, you are giving up a gaming video card and getting less hard drive space.

It is worth it though. You can always upgrade the graphics later. Video cards are getting cheaper and cheaper. Plus, you are reclaiming a drive bay for a future upgrade.
