Hey all, new to the forum.

I am trying to locate a very good load planning software application for my company. If you are not familiar with this then click here. http://www.loadcaptain.com/

This is just a basic package that cubes out a trailer with average sized boxes and material.

I am looking for one that can plan out oversize loads and very odd and curved shapes. Preferably in a 3D format.

If anybody can point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it.

You can look at some of the stuff we ship here at Reynolds Polymerand you will be able to see the size and girth of such material that we ship internationally. I am talking the aquarium panels and items of that nature.

thanks,
Eric

I'm not familar with Loadplanner. My company uses Manugistics (Networks Routing) It was originally called "Trucks" and was their base product-now the're into the whole Supply Chain solution. I work for a food retailer and basically how it works is our warehouse management system feeds the app case, cube and weight information for each store's order. The app builds the truck based on the parameters you set for the network. (delivery windows, store location, trailer cube etc.) Steep learning curve however.
