Lo Jack question

bought a G35 sedan today. Going to finalize the paperwork tomorrow. They offered me the LoJack Early Warning system (the most recent model) for 995 (she originally stated 1295, but quickly went to 995). I am wondering whether this is a fair price or not?
Maybe someone can tell me what they paid?

Thanks

I paid 495 for my LoJack back in 99

I think it's something like 350-400ish for dealership to purchase them I could be wrong however.

I'm REALLY late on the reply here, but I was just searching the forums for lojack info and came across this one. I'm sure you're already past the point of buying your new car. I just paid ~$600 for lojack (not even the early warning version, just normal lojack) a few days ago.

On that very note, is it true that LoJack won't let you watch them install the system? This is what the dealership told me, and they say that it's because they don't want *anyone* to know where on the vehicle it is placed. In relation to your sticker comment, that makes me a bit leary since they could go to my car, slap a sticker on, take a lunch break, then come back and tell me it's done. For something costing as much as lojack, i'd sure as hell like to *know* that it's actually there.
