The position of the democrats has always been "fund it without extraneous conditions".

In the past when the Republicans were filibustering you said that if the Democrats wanted to keep the government open they should change things so that the republicans would stop filibustering. Now you're saying the opposite: that the Republicans should keep things the same and the Democrats should stop filibustering.

If the GOP puts a poison pill in legislation which the GOP knows for sure will not be accepted by Democrats, why on Earth should the GOP NOT get the blame?

Republicans filibuster a spending bill = BAD.

Democrats filibuster a spending bill = Republicans BAD.
