Just when you thought you would never hear something new from good ole Johnny, the end of tonights game prompted this from Mr Madden:

"There's two footballs on the field!"

LOL He was referring to the play of the game when time was running out and the officials mistakenly had two balls on the field as the play was about to start. If you didn't watch the game or don't watch football, this may not amuse you, but for those who heard it I am sure you laughed like I did.

Another quote to add to John Madden's book of famous quotes.

There were indeed, but time had run out before they got the play off anyway, and when the referee announced the end, Al Michaels responded "The game is over. But why?" HAHAHA

haha yeah my roommates and I were watching that and were cracking up... the whole game was pretty funny :p

I think what made it funnier is that he was quiet for quite some time before that, and just blurted it out.. And then went silent again.

I just watched it 3 more times and saved it on my DVR. Cant wait to wake up tomorrow and listen again.
