Just walked by an auditorium that they've converted to a cube farm and they had a very touchy-feely sign out front touting the "Soft-Walled Office Community" like it was anything other than a holding pen for phone jockeys. I'd take a pic for you all but our crack security forces would doubtless "take me down" for violating the "No Video or Cameras in the CDC" rule.

Yeah I can relate we're moving some people around on one of our floors and a conference room is becoming a work area. We have to remove the door so they cannont officially say that they have an office but a 'work area' completely asinine IMO

Seriously: the people in this particular area are (AFAIK) the folks who answer the phones for all the random questions people call us with 24/7. They're putting up new buildings (the one that caught fire the other day as a matter of fact) for groups like this, but they're stuck in the SWOC for the time being. Hence, my "phone jockey" comment.
