Okay... the morons are out on patrol in my subdivision. I go to move my car out of the way of my mom's Blazer and I hear the high end of a song. I make it so that it's not obvious that I'm paying attention, but I check out the vehicle in my rear view mirror. It's some idiot driving around in an older Suburban listening to some kind of techno/house/trance music at insane levels. I would think if you'd want to play something like that loud... you'd at least have subs to go with it.
 
I agree. People who listen to music at very loud volumes in their car are idiots. Especially in a residential area.

what really disturbs me are the guys with like an 85 POS buick that has a stereo system in it thats worth more than the car
 
... i just point and laugh... 🙂 ... i don't know what kind of attention they're looking for though... maybe people that point and laugh... 😀
 
i love it when people (mainly adults) complain about "kids playing their music too loud" then proceed to bust out their cell phone while driving their SUV through city streets. I can drive better with my system blasting then most people can drive after taking a hot shower and a caffeine pill.

Now people who don't have systems that blast their stock systems... that's another story

The last car I had if I carried my Toshiba e310 with me in my pocket the value of my car tripled.

I'm 20 and I miss having a system. The reason why I haven't gotten a new one for my new car is just for the sheer fact that it won't get stolen again. I'm happy with the factory "premium" radio until I upgrade the speakers to components all around.

And some like to be idiots their entire lifetime... other people are masochists, like those that play their music at ear-bleeding levels because they're already mostly deaf... or think it's cool to have hearing damage.

Systems add unneccessary weight to car... must change factory double DIN to single... save 4 lbs right there! 😉
