ugh its been like 2 weeks and I still have not seen the <15 second superpi time I was expecting. I dont think Anand gave these chips enough attention. Who cares about the next mobile phone...

So a 4.3ghz Llano (air cooled / 1.4volt) does SuperPi 1M in 16sec.

Im impressed, thats like a Phenom II @ 4.1ghz or so.
And it probably uses less power too, compaired to the Phenom II.

Amd should have skipped bulldozer, and just worked really hard on the Llano cores.

Wow so it is finally possible for an AMD to match a 3.8GHz E5200's super pi time.

Beats an FX8150. SuperPI 1m is around 20 seconds with an FX8150 @ 4.2ghz.

Nice oc, can you run 3D Mark Vantage? I want to see if the iGPU is actually oc'd with the core or not. I remember reading about the gpu doesn't oc with with the CPU.

I am running now with 150x28(auto voltage),because it runs for me more smoothly.

yes my iGPU doesn't score high compare to others.

Next week I get my saphire HD6670, I try to make Dual Graphics link. after that you can get more info.

I am going abroad again.

Says memory @ 800 (so your running DDR3-1600, at stock atm?)

You know the iGPU needs memory bandwidth :)
You should up your ram speeds for the sake of this test of the iGPU
(so you can score like ~6400 or so intead of ~5500).

Thanks for the benchmark results. Looks like for a budget gaming build it'll be better to get the Athlon II 631 and get a more powerful GPU separately.

In bios it says i am running my rams on 1999, but i am not sure.

I disabled Crossfire option, reran 3d mark vantage. I scored lower than with enabled crossfire option. seems working that dual graphics.

The OC was getting boring lately, either impossible (on some Intel chips) or too easy (on the Intel K and AMD Black Edition). Or possible but "meh" on some other chips.

Seems that the FM1 brought back the fun. I'm still waiting for the unlocked chips though want to OC both ways.

i personally wanna see what an unlocked a8 will oc to since these might be limited by the igpu. if the a8-3870k oc close to the same as a fx 4100 id much rather have a llano.
