It's a surprise that Obama and his admin behave in exactly the same ways as the last several admins...?

Surely this is just a miscommunication. Obama made it very clear he was going to bring change and that lobbyists were not welcome in his administration. It must be a vast right wing conspiracy lie or something, the dear leader and his regime are different than all the previous ones! :D

Ok, seriously folks, when it comes to government corruption and undue influence for certain influential players and lobbyists, it doesn't matter if there's an R or D, money talks.

Actually, it's a reading comprehension failure on your part.

This is not a lobbyist being welcomed into the administration; it is someone leaving the administration to work as a lobbyist.

Actually, you're once again displaying astounding ignorance and lack of understanding the subject matter, how these things work and what the actual issue with lobbyists is. When people complain about lobbyists, they're not complaining about the government hiring them, they're complaining about lobbyists having undue influence on government agencies or congress.

Fowler will be using her connections within the administration to lobby for J&J. Unless the administration actually bars her from having access to the administration going forward, it would be doing exactly what all prior administrations have done: welcome lobbyists with open arms. All bobo's claims to the contrary were just the usual political BS and lies, which his adoring followers lap up.

Everything that you a talking about in the second paragraph is cover by laws. These laws desparately need to be changed. Not sure why you think this is this current administrations issue.

But, partisan on.

Perhaps you should read my earlier post (and for bonus points, this time try comprehending too!). It is obviously not an issue just with the current administration, it's always been an issue with all administrations. The hypocrisy lies in the fact that bobo made such a big deal about his administration being different when in fact it works the exact same way as all the other ones.

Of course, but until that happens, how has this administration broken its promise to not welcome lobbyists into the inner circle?

Premature outrage.

She was an industry insider who was welcomed into the administration to the consternation of many in the Obama camp who has now left to lobby for the industry.

So it doesn't matter if Obama campaigned on not hiring industry insiders or on not having his senior administration personnel jump to industry for cushy lobbying jobs, she encompasses both.

And we as the American people will lose as she will use her knowledge, connections, and any means possible to bring an advantage to J&J....

Great job of J&J in getting her to move over, but really shows how the more things change the more they stay the same.

nothing new. new boss is the same as the old boss. just a diffrent letter by his name.

what shocks me is people believed in his pledges BEFORE he was elected. do you really think he could stop it? even if he tried?

the amount of corruption in politics is amazing and nobody care's unless its the other party.
