I find it astounding that you have the time or the inclination to get so wrapped up in the details of your son's friendships and then post about it on the internet.

Grow up and get a life Dad.

how about you buy your son a bass guitar?

there's also no reason at all to mention the fact that he's Native American, but then you couldn't post your 'clever' one-liner. I'm glad your son is not as ignorant as you are.

So today, this friend calls my son and wants his bass guitar back. He comes by the house and picks it up. Is this or is this not a classic example of being a 'Indian giver'? I told my son to tell him that, but he didn't. I think it's just f**ked up! I told him to say good bye to their friendship and at least ask for his 'friend' to pay for the cost of the bass strings.

What do you guys think?

it's been said already but i'll point it out again...you've got a good kid there.

How much would it cost to rent a guitar for a year? How much did the strings cost? Answer these questions and you have a basis to work out how pissed off you should be.
