Anyone know of any DDR1 RAM specials or other good tech sales (HP toner, mp3 player) coming this Sunday?

Circuit City, Best Buy, Target, Staples, Office Max (Office Depot can kiss my @ss), and of course Costco.

If not I am looking at driving to the ?big city? on Saturday when there is at least one good RAM sale at Circuit City.

Thanks

Since we are making our monthly run to Costco this weekend anyway I would like to get a heads up on the Sunday ads. I would hate to do all my shopping on Saturday and then open the Sunday paper to find the stuff cheaper. Some people here work at those stores and have advance knowledge of upcomming sales.

UPDATE
Of course the only tempting DDR1 RAM deal to materialize so far is office depot, but you just know that $35 OD rebate will never come :(

Also, where is a good B&M place to get 50 feet of CAT-5 cable? And what is a good price for that amount?

Thanks

I live minutes from the largest mall in the country (by leasable retail space). I have the largest collection of big-box stores in the world even closer. I never did see the benefit of living in the boonies....

Damn, I take living in a populated area for granted. Even when I lived in a rural farming area in Indiana I didn't have to drive more than a half hour to get to the chain stores in Muncie.

You seriously need to get shopping online. sheesh for something like RAM why do you want to drive an hour to pick it up? What can you see in person that you can't see online, plus you can probably get it cheaper online too.

Ah yea read... going there anyway, just trying to decide on which day. If you have an online deal for DDR1 RAM at $30 for a 512mb stick delivered please post it. Otherwise....

The benefits are QUIET, PEACE, no traffic at all, the ability to go outside in just my underwear if I so choose to do and no one becoming offended or even seeing me, my own 1 1/2 acre pond for fishing just outside my back door, QUIET, no nosey neighbors, and did I mention QUIET?

I'll gladly sacrifice living within 10 min of a bunch of stores for the peace and quiet of the boonies......not to mention that my property tax rate is much lower than the city dwellers. All that more than makes up for having an hour drive to get to BB, CC, CompUSA, and the like.

Since when has it been QUIET in the boonies? I grew up on a farm. Nope, not quiet - somebody has to tell the pigs, cows, roosters etc not to start up with all the noise at DAWN. Let me sleep!! I can go out in my underwear here in the suburbs, should I care to. Let people watch. And, there is a nice fishing river outside my door here too. Ya got me on the property tax, of course. I'm not making fun of you, just comparing stuff.

I like internet shopping AND stores. What's with the big one-vs-the-other fight?

I'm listening to the farm noises right now. I'll gladly hear the roosters, goats, etc. any day, rather than the sounds of traffic - horns, loud stereos, etc. Heck, I even enjoy the noise from my dozen or so guinea hens.

The view out my window right now is beautiful. The leaves on the trees are just getting some color. No buildings to see... no roads, no cars.

Realizing that the people who live across the street from a major mall spend their weekends and vacations where I live so they can relax: priceless. I feel so bad for them late Sunday afternoon when the pack up their campers and drive back to the big city.
