They are traceable if you were to go to the dealer. The logs will show the extra boost. I've never been a fan of tuners on warrantied cars because I have no desire to nuke a very expensive engine 😛.
 
Won't void warranty unless the fault was caused by the mod.

If you burn a piston, tough luck, but they legally can't refuse to replace a power window or water pump or known defective factory part because you have a tune.

Good luck with that. I'm very familiar with the magnuson moss act and all that jazz, but in real world situations you will play hell to get ford to warranty any engine issue if you've messed with the tune.

At very best, you're without a vehicle for a few months while you post online bitching and pay a lawyer a couple thousand to fight it.
 
Thanks for the heads up. From what I have read, its hit or miss with warranty voiding. But I am going to just err on the side of caution and if I get a tuner just assume the warranty is kaput for all intents and purposes.
