Live - what the heck do their songs mean?

Does anyone listen to this group? I was listening to their lyrics, what the heck do they mean? i swear these guys are tripping everytime they come out with a song, i understand one song - Lightning Crashes, but the others - Dance With Me, and Dolphins Cry i have no idea. Anyone know?

Some of their earlier stuff is a little more literal, but not by much. They're pretty good live (ha!). Best song is probably Waitress or Sh|t Towne. All of Throwing Copper is good though

They really don't strike me as a band that does a lot of drugs, but I suppose it could be possible.

the people on www.songmeanings.net seem to agree that the song is about "sex on the beach" and that is what the band says when they play the song. They should do a remix about tuna sandwiches.
