guys, run the tour here and tell me what pops up when you navigate to "get directions" then "enter address."

http://google.com/gmm/tour.html

as an example, google gives 100 bird rd miami fl. that's very close to where i live! i wonder if it's just picking up my cookies.

sucks.. No Treo/650/Palm support. It is ironic that Google won't support OS like Palm.

I thought about getting it untill I considered the high charges for data transfer.... it's got to be insane! Or am I mistaken?

Depends on your plan.

If you have an unlimited data plan (like with Verizon or Sprint), there's no worries.

I use GMM on my XV6700 (it takes a little hacking to get it to work), but for my data connection I just use a dial-up account so I'm only using cell phone minutes.

You can get it to run, but you have to get IBM's Java package for Windows Mobile, and then use the install package for Java-based PDA's. It takes a little effort, but it does work...
