Looks pretty much the same as halo 3 which I got tired of very fast. Probably won't buy this one.

yea the french version was ripped and released yesterday.

ms straight up said that anyone who plays this before the launch date and is on live will be banned from live.

hope these people get banned.

Just the ones who are playing the ripped version. The people that legitimately bought their French copy because a retailer sold it early are fine.

Yeah I heard major nelson say the same thing on his podcast. He said the paying customers aren't at fault but they would deal with the retailers.

I wonder if they can really tell people are playing a pirated copy? If they could tell people were using modded consoles, wouldn't they have already banned those consoles? I wonder if they're just assuming that someone who is playing the game outside of France within the first day or two of it being sold in France is probably playing a pirated copy.

Probably anybody outside of France that does not already have an approved review copy.

My guess would be that the pirate copy is Region Free..so they might be able to tell from that.
