watching this on the news now, surprised that a thread hadn't been started earlier.

It's rather disgusting, isn't it?

Mass destruction..most likely mass casualties too. 75 kids missing under the rubble of a leveled Middle School and the first thing this clown thinks to do is make joke about Gun control. :colbert:

So? Are crocodile tears and faux outrage better? Nothing said on this forum means fuck all in the world.

Brother-in-law and his family live up in Moore. So far, they've all reported being safe.

Glad to hear it.

I started watching the coverage of this before it hit Moore and saw when the first videos of the destruction appeared. So awful. So many buildings just turned to matchsticks.

I graduated from high school about 20 miles north of there and did my university time 20 miles south at OU. I remember watching tornados touch down on the lake near our house and being evacuated from the OU dorms more than once for tornado warnings, but I don't remember anything like this.

Am sending all good thoughts in that direction.

I have family there. Luckily all of them made it through safely but I feel for all the people that lost someone or had injuries. Crazy stuff.
