live mail not downloading Hotmail.com acct

I did a clean install of win7 x64. D/led Windows live mail and on first attempt, I have to 'click' download button on top to get info from my hotmail.com acct

well it tries to connect to the server and it says job is complete (in a very short time) but I do not have my email info.

I thought it was conflict with x64 so I did clean install of x86 today and it still does same thing. anybody have same problem? could it be server issue?
