ROASTival.com

My friends throw a massive party every year on Labor Day Weekend. This year they're going all out with it. They have 16 bands lined up. Oh, and they roast 2 pigs overnight on Saturday. Massive bonfire, beer pong, poker, late-night campfire jams, etc, etc.

The general idea is to camp out from either Friday night to Monday morning or Saturday night to Monday morning. He's got a 3-keg kegerator with all you can drink beer included in the price. Last year we went through 15 kegs (ZOIKS!).

Just a heads up if anyone in the area is looking for a fun time.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that we will be carding and nobody under 21 will be allowed to drink. Doesn't mean you can't come, you just can't drink.

Well, I don't think you'd want to if you wanna camp all weekend. If you want to just come on the day when the pig will be served, I think you'd be fine. There are 1 day passes available, but I think only on the day of the party.

I was interested because of the "like pig?" in the title. They're my favorite animals.

:( You dissapointed me.

On a more serious note, I might be interested. How many people usually show up to this?

interesting...is it on a farm or something? Some of the pictures look like there's a road right there which I wouldn't expect given the bonfires and late night bands. Only about an hour and a half from me.

krunchykrome: Last year I'd guess we had around 300 people. Not many camped out because they didn't know they could. So, this year, we're really encouraging the camping because it'll make it more of a festival atmosphere.

Darkstar757: We are carding. Nobody under 21 will be drinking.

SoulAssassin: It's on what used to be a farm. There's a super old barn on the land and all that jazz. There are some neighbors but they know of the party and we've been throwing it for 4 years now. We've even talked to the cops about it.

I went to something similar like that once... people got so drunk they made a 'tee-pee' with the picnic benches, then made huge bonfires out of them. Felt sorry for the owners of the campground, they had just bought the campground that year from the previous owners, and had NOOOO CLUE how bad it could get. My friends and i did what we could, but once the first picnic bonfire went up, there was no stopping.
