In Queens via lawnchair, sitting on the porch, watching cement dry, here is your nights weather report: 🙂

Nippy, with a chance of castration

For some crazy reason, I was suckered into literally watching the cement dry on the new sidewalk this evening. Just a little above freezing, so it's not that bad. Lot of little tater tots running aroung, waiting for the opportunity to scratch "Jenny hearts Johnny" into the property. I'm get off a little before midnight, where we pray everything staying intact. In jeans & a light sweatshirt, with a couple monster ales, & leftover stuffing, I am just learning how to use a laptop. Dinner at the 'rent has never been better. 🙂

I think I see a cat sneaking along the edge, brb. :ninja;

Sad update: Checking out the scene the morning after, I thought I did a good job, until I spotted a size 10 sitting along the edge. Dad managed to leave an imprint a full 14 hours after the cement was marked. I guess he jumped on it to stress test it. 🙁

So I don't get it. Are you getting paid to do this or is this some sort of bizarre interrogation technique?

A little from A, a little from B.

So what does rent cost in Queens on average? I couldn't stand to live in a crowded concrete jungle like that.

We get $1100 for a decent 2 bedroom with new carpet, cabinets, & paintjob. I'd say average is about $50-100 more for the same thing. By we, I mean they, since I can barely afford a couple rooms next to the boiler.

Queens is very green btw. Parks, cemetaries, little kids selling weed, trees & gardens on every block.
