In the past few years, aging police officer John McClane (Bruce Willis) has spent his time in and out of Alcoholics Anonymous and is divorced from his wife. He is no longer employed by the police department, but has found a position with the United States Department of Homeland Security chasing dangerous computer hackers.

I'm looking forward to it too...but it looks like they went a little too over the top. The original Die Hard and Die Hard 2 were great because you felt like the hero really was just a regular guy/cop who got caught up in things. The stuff in that trailer is over the top super hero type stuff. I'll still watch it...especially because Maggie Q is going to be in it and I've had a hard-on for her since MI:3.

Looks good, but WHY is that stupid Mac loser playing the hacker?

Because it's hard to get someone who isn't the prettyboy limpwrist interior designer type but rather who uses unix and is generously obese to appeal to a target audience.
Edit: forgot to mention neckbeards!

I agree, too many special effects and such. I just want to see him punch a guy in the face and say something funny.

as the # of sequel's rack up, the story line follows the 'Deus ex machina' path.
'improbable character, device, or event introduced in a work of fiction or drama to resolve a situation '
look at the Bond movie's played by Pierce Brosnan.

You doubly screwed up...you were suppose to choose one, not do both.

This sounds bad. The only thing that can save it is if they write Carl Winslow into it. For the fans.
