Live Drive II and Minidisc

I just recorded my first concert (Pearl Jam in St. Louis) using a Sony MZR-55 MiniDisc recorder and a Sony ECM-717 Mic. I am currently trying to export what's on the 2 minidiscs onto my harddrive using my SBLive Platinum and the LiveDrive II. As of yet, I am having no luck finding out how to actually go about doing this. I have a digital optical cable (toslink) that runs from the optical out on my md recorder to the optical in on my LiveDrive II. However I cannot as of yet find anything that actually enables me to record the audio from my MD. I have all the SBLive software intalled. Any suggestions/ideas greatly appreciated.

Minidisc players only have Obtical in, not optical out. The optical plug is used for recording only. The only way to transfer from those minidiscs to the computer is the line/headphone out plug from your portable plyaer. Some home minidisc players probably have optical out probably.

Yeah, upon actually _looking_ at my MZR-55 I realized that the line out wasn't optical. It's kind of tricky like that because just next to the line-out is the mega-bass button which has the caption "digital mega-bass"...so for some reason I thought Lineout digital. (You would have to see the unit to know how I was duped.) Anyway, I am using the lineout with a 1.4" plug into my live drive, and it sounds pretty good through my Klipsches!
