Hmm I'm tempted to get the PGR4 demo even though I own the game, because I believe you have to "buy" Nurburgring with Kudos points. I think I have enough points, but I want to go from least expensive to most expensive.

What's the deal with this Extraction Point thing? Is it like Half Life 2 Episode 1? Or is it a combo of the original game along with extra stuff?

If it is similar to the Extraction Point on PC, it should just be a continuation of the original FEAR. I loved it! GREAT online multi-player.

That kinda stinks, I haven't played the original and would probably get this if it was some sort of Orange Box style offering.

found this description:
F.E.A.R. Files is the complete stand alone expansion pack series that combines the award winning F.E.A.R. Extraction Point with the brand new F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate together in 1 package!

So it sounds like its just what you said it was... standalone expansion pack.

You know, you can still buy the original FEAR for the 360. It's pretty cheap now.

Holy cow, the FEAR demo sucks! I absolutely could not stand how you bounce when you walk...somebody actually thought that was cool? Even when you are moving as slow as you can go, your view is still bouncing up and down like a kid on a sugar rush. I honestly didn't play past the second room because of this. Even when you're running full tilt, the screen bounce is still highly annoying. I played FEAR on the PC, and I don't remember it being anywhere near that bad.

As for PGR4, I loved it. I'm even thinking about picking it up on lunch today, that's how much I loved it. It looks gorgeous, and the controls feel spot-on.

 I really dig the full game.

I still hate those damned motorcycles 🙁. But playing Geometry Wars: Waves so makes up for it, it's mega mad fun!

It's cheap because it sucks ass 😛 My old roomie bought it...we played it for about 20 minutes each before he traded it in the next day.

I played PGR4 last night. The Nurbergring (sp?) F-1 circuit in the snow was cool looking, but I didn't really see any affects from the snow itself on the track. I was still putting down 1:10s laps in the Exige. Guess it handles awesome even in the snow! 🙂 I'll definitely be picking this game up, I have loved the other PGRs and I saw nothing to dislike about this one.

F.E.A.R. EP is pretty good but the story is non-canonical and a bit of a mess really, you'll only like the game if you enjoyed F.E.A.R., otherwise Extraction Point is just more of the same done a bit worse and more unorganized.

And on PC you could regulate the head bob, I suppose the 360 has a similar option.
